OR Insurance

Dedicated OR Insurance developed for ORO Members

All Members of ORO have confirmed to comply with the Membership Criteria.

This includes to have an insurance coverage for their REACH services in place. However - to have special coverage for OR activities is hard to find, since the insurance industry has until now not really developed such products.

ORO with it´s current members has designed the insurance requirements that should be covered and found an Insurance Service Provider who will covers these in a dedicated OR insurance product.

Only ORO Members have the opportunity to access this Insurance that was customized for ORs.

ORs who apply for ORO Membership can also benefit from this unique opportunity.

ORO accredited as ECHA Stakeholder organisation

By accrediting Only Representatives Organisation, who is the only association for European Only Representatives, ECHA acknowledges the importance of Only Representatives in the REACH process.

Since one of the main objective of ORO and its members is to contribute with high quality to the REACH process, ORO is very proud to qualify the ECHA criteria.

Only Representatives and Safety Data Sheets

Summary
Where importers wish to be provided with Safety Data Sheets (SDS) by either their non-European Union (EU)-based supplier or its Only Representative, this will have to be agreed on a Business-to-Business basis. Neither the non-EU based supplier nor its Only Representative (OR) has a legal obligation under REACH to provide safety data sheets.
